Don't forget, it did say one in a million. Almost as good as some lotteries. However, that's one lottery nobody would care to win.

And after many, many years of getting the seasonal flu shot, a former co worker of mine suffered some sort of paralysis which affected his breathing and he too passed away within 2 weeks of his shot. So you never really know when your time is up.

I don't even want to watch the video. I know what I'll see... it will just break my heart further. But thanks, cmor. I have never had a flue shot and have let my body's own defenses do their thing over the years... just my way and opinion... and in the last 6 years working within the residence halls, have never had the flu...

And amen to that, Caballero... life is short and you never know when you will meet your maker.

35 years ago my job insisted I must have a flu shot. I had the flu for the first time in my life and was sick for three weeks. Never had one since and the most i ever have is a runny nose and maybe a sore trowt. I gargle my thowt with hydrogen peroxide and soreness gone. (By the way, hydrogen peroxide is a very inexpensive cure all, look it up on the net for all it's uses.

Well that sums it up....

No flu shot for me. I too have never gotten the flu shot, and very seldom I get sick. I think maybe the beer kills all the germs.....lol

Personally, I prefer something a little more stringent. Usually a solution garnered from a different grain that has eventually been distilled to purify it. And that's just to get the courage to receive the injection.

I feel sorry for the poor girl in the video, but how about the 21 children that died in the US this week from H1N1. I already have received my shot with no ill effects. I was not afraid of catching the flu, but I hope by getting the shot I have helped in slowing the spread of the virus to those more susceptible to the flu.

36 children died, 30 of them had previous staff infections, the staff infections killed them.
the hini aids the staff in getting to the lungs, so get the shots, which is hini and help the staff get to your lungs.

The problem with vaccines is that they add things like mercury and aluminum which are both toxic for the central nervous system. A lot of parents of autistic children believe the autism was a result of immunizations. From day one, unless you tell the doctors otherwise, babies begin receiving immunizations and later some shots are a combination shot like MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) which in some children is too much for their immune and nervous systems. Many parents say until their children were immunized they were fine and shortly after they began having health and/or behavior problems. There are dfinitely dangers in vaccines. Not everyone will develop a problem but I think the numbers are increasing because of multiple vaccinations of children at a young age. An intersting documentary on the subject is called "Shots in the Dark" by the National Film Board of Canada. You can see a trailer on their site or find a torrent download somewhere. Good film.
