make bootable iso with windows 7 files

i have img burn and magic iso i download windows and installed from desktop but i want to make a bootable iso so i can do a clean install on a diff paration been googlin for a while now can seem to get it right in the left corner it will change from non bootable to bootable but still doesn't boot from dvd any help would be appreciated

I use Nero to make all my all my test cd/dvd's ,,, using the nero e*x*p*r*e*s*s* ,, then choosing,,,, Image,Project,Copy,,,,then choosing,,,,Disc Image or Saved Project,,,add then iso image that I downloaded using bit torrent ,,,,

Also before you click burn,,,,Go to options and select the lowest possible burn speed,,,,this is a very critical step in burning bootable image files,,,,,, so to reduce the chance of errors,,,

i done that earlier i created a iso from the files says bootable but isn't trying to figure out how to take the setup file and make a bootable iso

Yup Nero for me too to burn....Daemon tools to play iso's. You can also burn them from there although I've never done that.

I have used Nero and Alcohol 120%, both work well.

Do you have the 2 files bootcat.bin and bootimg.bin on the disk along with your i386 folder?

You may have to change boot sequence in the bios to cd/dvd rom ,,,for your pc ,, for example I have a dell laptop that is set to see and boot from the hard disc drive ,, but ,,, when I turn it on and hit F2 on my keyboard ,, it will let me choose boot from cd/dvd rom ,,, and then default back to hard disc drive from that point on if I do nothing else,,

This works the same for a USB flash drive that I have made bootable,,, with a win 7 image,,, most newer Pc's support this,,,,

Note:: I get my iso images from the the internet,,, they are already prepared for burning with any burner that supports burn bootable iso ,,,

If you are trying to create or modify an ISO image it must contain the needed boot files that are written with a program that makes the ISO Image ,,, If you are working with win 7 only ,, check out "vlite"

vlite allows you to make your own personal version of win7 the way you like,,,

u can use magic iso aswell,,,, just click on new ,,, go to bootable file,,, browse ,,,,,put in blank dvd ,, and click on slowest burn ,, ,takes about 10 minutes for it too make a bootable disk
